Trash or Die animated music video (update)

It is an honor to work on the animated music video for the thrash metal band Thrash or Die. Its has been a long journey and it shouldn't. The video is directed by Dan Jackson a kick ass metal head. Keeping it true to the metal spirit. I can't show much yet, but here is a couple of frame grabs.

And here is their last music video: Wake up and smell the thrash by Dan Jackson.

Inking and ToonBooming John's Fred Flintstone

This is the best way to get good at this stuff! Get one of the bacon greased coffee stained wrinkled John K's phone doodle and try to ink it on Toon Boom. To add challenge (like myself) use a shitty tablet. Those with no screen and really small. You will be drooling all over it due to brain activity over load. John's lines are crazy loose and you can see how he gets it right in one shot. Just loose up the arms throw lines around hoping it will match to his. Yeah.... great exercise. Got respect those who are actually inking The All New Goddamn George Liquor Show.

Animation for the fashion World

A contracted job I did back in 2011. This was before my experience with Toon Boom. It was all hand drawn and it was all done in a bit over a week.

Ernie and Slab Studying (teaser)

A little teaser for a fan made George Liquor cartoon based on a John Kricfalusi layout at http://johnkstuff.blogspot.com/. All rights goes to John Kricfalusi.

I am am working on my original characters now, also busy on a pre production of a video game, I am not finishing this up any time soon. It was a great learning tool, it forces you to meet standards. John himself recommended to animate existing characters. They are designed with functionality by experienced professionals. Efficient structure is the main lesson to learn. I copied hundreds of frames from good old days cartoons, but I decided to animate something I could actually work on. However, it does feel like I am wearing someone's clothing. I will definitely finish it, I hate not finishing stuff.

George Liquor Learns Evolution

The idea was to make a full gag out of a single Layout. Jim's Drawing is a gag itself, so I am only counting John's. One thing I never understood was people licking fingers before flipping pages and handling money. It freaks me out. I thought it could be something George would do.
